Right On The Spot @ Sweet Spot Artisan Ice Cream

April 12, 2013 - I love eating ice cream especially if the flavor is cookies & cream! I'm sure, you also love eating ice cream and may even finish a pint or a gallon! But have you tried as something different as crocodile ice cream? It may sound weird but there's really a crocodile ice cream. Well, why is it called as such?

Crocodile Ice Cream is made instead of using ordinary chicken eggs, they use crocodile eggs. Crocodile Ice Cream is also an artisan ice cream which means, it's a 'hands on' process.

"Artisan ice cream producers are able to be 'hands on' as they make smaller batches of ice cream that will be sold and eaten in as short a time as possible, so they remain as 'fresh' as ice cream is supposed to be."

When I first heard about Crocodile Ice Cream, first thing came into my mind was "How could it be possible?" But when I found out that they use crocodile eggs, my curiosity radar turned on and excited to taste it. As of now, they only have 2 flavors which the eggs they've used are crocodile eggs.

With my fellow bloggers, we were introduced to this crocodile ice cream. They use 12 crocodile eggs for the ice cream to be creamier and thicker. It really is sweet, creamy and thick! The pandan flavor was delicious and it happens to be one of my favorites.

They also made us try some of the ice cream flavors that they sell. What made me more excited is the cookies & cream just in front of me, waiting to be devoured! :D

But as we thought we're finished in tasting the ice cream, we were served with more ice cream served in our table! And again, we picked them up and indulged their delicious ice cream! It's like a sweet paradise for the bloggers that we ate this much ice cream as we have! How could I say no to this?

Crocodile Ice Cream is surely one of the best ice creams that I've tasted here in Davao. It really is a lot different than those being sold at malls or convenience stores. It's thicker and creamier and really sweet!

Many thanks to Ms. Bianca Dizon for the ice cream that we just devoured and enjoyed. And to Mr. Sonny Dizon, the owner of Crocodile Park for joining us in the event. Also, I would like to thank Mr. Jesse for assisting us for the whole afternoon.

Is there a distinct taste that can help us differentiate crocodile egg from chicken egg on ice creams? :)
