Spaghetti Pomodoro.. Ay Or Nay?

April 15, 2013 - I was in Gaisano Mall of Davao at The Peak when I decided to eat something for my hungry tummy. I went to a few restaurants but of course, since I'm on the budget, I was choosy on what to eat and I want my tummy to be satisfied for that day. Then I remembered the promo of Cafe France where they have meals that are cheaper than the original price. With that, I went inside Cafe France.

Spaghetti Pomodoro. Price: 120 Pesos with 12 oz. drinks
In their promo, there were lots to choose from. From sandwiches to meals, pastas, etc. They can save lots of money than it's original price. I chose Spaghetti Pomodoro. Mainly, it consists of pasta, tuna, tomato sauce, salt and pepper, and other spices with garlic breads on the side. Just look at the plastic cup. C'mon Cafe France, you can do better than this!

Closer look
I can't help but to be disappointed with their pasta. I've never eaten a very salty pasta in my 24 years of existence and to eat a salty pasta is something not to crave on. From start to finish, it gets saltier and saltier and I'm hating it. It seems like I'm eating a plate of salt in a pasta form. I finished the entire pasta with dismay. I just can't wait to address my complaint to the manager about what I just ate.

I do love pasta and I crave for it whenever I'm hungry but their Spaghetti Pomodoro is just unforgivable. I've never expected a very salty pasta in my life and I even can't believe myself that I was able to finish it. I didn't experience eating a salty pasta anywhere but CAFE FRANCE!

According to the manager, their chef right now is a trainee which made me even more upset! I've had high expectations about the pasta. It's supposed to have tuna but I've never tasted any. What a disappointment!

I hope for my next visit, they'll do better and if given a chance, I wanna talk to the chef who made the pasta and tell him everything about what I just ate. I'm gonna order the same pasta and I do hope I will not eat a plate of salt in a pasta form. Ever.
