The Wintermelon Rock Salt & Cheese @ Jelly Citea, Matina Town Square
August 15, 2014 - For the nth time, I have to confess my love of milk tea and it's why, after countless walks with my friends, we decided to visit MTS. Though after we've arrived, we had no idea where to go hence we just sat on the benches in the roundabout. But my love of milk tea just bursted out when I saw Jelly Citea and I was the only one excited to try them. All of my friends wanted me to try out first then they'll just follow suit. Well, it takes to explore new things first! :D
Upon entering this branch, I've noticed the beautiful paintings on the wall and it resembled the major cities that we know so well. Also, the wall clocks were of different time zones and it's a nice addition in the store since you'll know their time and it can make you aware of it. The "Post-It" wall added colors in the store and I dunno why it is attractive to me. Hmmm..
The price range of their milk tea goes from 50 Pesos to 100+ Pesos. I asked the cashier on their specialties and without thinking twice, she recommended me the "Paris" which is the Wintermelon Rock Salt & Cheese. Perfect! Two favorites in one cup!
The Wintermelon Rock Salt and Cheese consists of my two favorites wintermelon and rock & salt. This made me excited since this made me a fan already! Price: 70 Pesos.
Should I say, this is my favorite right now? YES! I thought it would be too sweet for me but I guess, I was proven a bit wrong. It's sweet but the combination of wintermelon and rock salt & cheese was superb! The wintermelon itself was sweet already but I guess I just loved it so much that I didn't mind about it. :D
For the price alone, it's already affordable and favorable for students and self-confessed milk tea lover (Guilty!). Thank you Jelly Citea for the delicious milk tea and to my friends Kevin, Princess and Alyssa for the laughter and fun! Till next time folks! :D

Wow! The price is so affordable. I also confess my love for milk tea. If only diabetes does not run in the family, I would have drunk milk teas every day of my life. <3

Wow, I have tried milk teas in awhile. It used to be my favorite when I was in the Philippines. It's expensive here so I don't really buy them anymore. LOL! I think the price was acceptable. The post-it idea was cool. I think it'll be bigger soon! They might even use the whole wall as time goes by!
