Salisbury Steak @ Red Ribbon, Gaisano Mall of Davao

November 7, 2013 - When you hear "Red Ribbon", one thing comes into our mind: Delectable desserts! But aside from desserts, they also serve lunch and snack meals that can make every customer satisfied. In fact, I'm one of their satisfied customers and there's always one meal that I eat and that is Salisbury Steak. When you're in Davao, look for these branches that serve lunch: Gaisano Mall of Davao and NCCC Mall Davao.

The Serving:
When ordering this meal, one can choose to have it a la carte, with drink only, with cake only or both. I chose to only have a la carte since I'm always on the budget. It is served with a cup of rice, beef patty topped with mushroom gravy, mashed potatoes and steamed vegetables (carrot and corn) on the side.
Price: 99 Pesos.

Closer look

The Taste:
Let's start with the steak. You'll know a good steak if it's juicy and until now, it never failed to make me LOVE the steak as it is always juicy whenever I slice it. It oozes out and it can make your lunch very satisfying. The mushroom gravy added great taste to the steak thus it is a perfect combo.

What I always do is to combine the steak, mashed potato and steamed carrots and corn. It always works as you can just distinguish different flavors but the end result is always satisfying. To be honest, every lunch that I have with them is always good and this day was no exemption. It still has the same tenderness of the beef patty that is so juicy and overall, it's a good dish that you can try.
