ReplyDeleteThe Araw ng Dabaw I remember years ago (I grew up there, went to Assumption School of Davao - former name, which is run by nuns, which explains why we had to wear Sunday dress during our proms, hehehe) was not like this. Yes, there was the Mutya ng Dabaw but street parades and other activities were not that really "big" and celebrated. Times have changed indeed... I miss Davao and hope we can visit my birth place again... in the near future.
ReplyDeleteWooow the line-up of activities look so much fun! how I wish I can fly and celebrate there too!
ReplyDeleteSee you at the Araw ng Dabaw events! It's going to be a very busy weekend for all of us :)
ReplyDeleteAnother milestone for Davao. And good thing durian is in season, at cheap dirt prices!
