Swirls originated in Bulacan. Then shortly, they've expanded their store to General Santos City and their latest branch here in Davao.The lady told me that their ice cream is equivalent to Dairy Queen. By hearing those words, it made music to my ears! Sounds so cool right!
Their ice cream is a bit different as they've used real vanilla beans to make an ice cream unlike other stores who are resorted to vanilla powder.
There are also cup sizes that you want. There are 8 oz, 12 oz, and 16 oz. There are also flavors fit for 49 Pesos and the rest are 65 Pesos. They also serve "carfait" and nothing to worry, this will not be blended.
I ordered Mud Spinner since it's one of the best-sellers if ordering for 49 Pesos. The lady showed me how to prepare my Mud Spinner. I was excited at this time because I've got to see how they do the swirl.
At this one, they've used the same machine like in other fast food chain that offers sundaes and in the case of KFC: Krushers. This was one privilege that I couldn't miss since they allowed me to watch on how to prepare my Mud Spinner. Isn't it exciting? :D
The Mud Spinner consists of vanilla ice cream, Oreo cookies, coffee and choco fudge. I requested to just have a bit of choco fudge to reduce the sweetness and I'm solved!
What I like about this ice cream is the richness of the cream and it's so thick. Here's the thing, it's not really sweet. In fact, I love its taste!
Price: 49 Pesos (8 oz.)
Yes! Your eyes didn't deceive you as they showed me that this ice cream doesn't fall. When the lady did this, I was amazed that not even a single drop fell. It shows how rich and thick their ice cream is. Sounds cool huh! :D
Well, it seems like I have another ice cream store to visit and Swirls Ice Cream made me so happy that I could enjoy my ice cream in an affordable price. For a 49 Peso ice cream, you're guaranteed to have a rich, thick and delicious ice cream that you'll enjoy for the whole time. Thanks Swirls Ice Cream for the delicious treat! I'll make sure to try other flavors and indulge! :D
